Rapid nucleic acid amplification tests

At GAIKER, we specialize in adapting PCR methods and its variants (RT-qPCR, NASBA, HRM, etc.) for the detection of specific analytes. Our expertise includes the development of portable systems for microorganism detection (Point-of-Care, POC) utilizing isothermal amplification of gene sequences and CRISPR-Cas detection technology. These systems are specifically designed for applications in environmental, clinical and food sectors.

We are particularly adept at utilizing the Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) technique for nucleic acid amplification, which, unlike traditional PCR technology, LAMP is performed at a constant temperature and does not require a thermal cycler. This approach offers many advantages, including faster detection, enhanced amplification efficiency and the use of simpler and more cost-effective equipment.
