Seeking an alternative that simplifies the bacterial cell counting process for Mikrobiomik’s faecal microbiota tablets. This counting process is a central task in Mikrobiomik’s activity and its automation would enable them to save staff hours, the cost of consumables and standardise the counting process.
To this end, a comparative analysis of the different options available was carried out in order to find a simple, reproducible and reliable method that best suits the company’s needs. Thanks to the analysis of alternatives carried out by GAIKER, an automated solution for microbial counting was found, through which Mikrobiomik hopes to achieve more standardised and reproducible results, as well as reducing the time spent by its workers on this counting process.
