The main objective is the development of a "HSaaS" (Hardware Software as a Service) system to optimise the management of large-volume bulk warehouses, based on the joint application of Artificial Vision technologies. This new solution will allow the automation of handling operations thanks to the detection and characterisation of the materials inside the pit in real time, which will mean a differential increase in productivity and efficiency in this type of process. Activating the circular economy of complex mixtures from waste by advanced spectroscopic techniques for inline recognition and classification of metal resources. IN-MET
The overall objective of the IN-MET project is to generate a solid base of technological knowledge that will allow progress in the design and development of highly efficient and reliable continuous recognition systems, based on the combination of spectroscopic techniques and machine learning methods of data analysis, to segment by alloy type mixtures of ferrous metals (steels) and non-ferrous metals (aluminium) from waste treatment.
